Objective:
Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) is the operator of Munich Airport. They wanted to demonstrate to their stakeholders, their positive activities towards environment, social aspects and business achievements, around their core business services for transportation.

Solution:
They collected CO₂ emission data to calculate the carbon footprint and develop an integrated report covering the above mentioned topics. The business figures were certified by a certified accountant. The environment and social aspects were certified by Intechnica Cert for this integrated report.

Benefits:
FMG obtained a certification for the whole airport campus – the highest level (3) of the Airport Carbon Accreditation Organisation.
In one publication; shareholders and stakeholders were able see a complete and accurate picture of the company, where the contents had been verified and validated by third party experts.
